"Using this fortune to fund his search, Gi-hun starts with the most obvious of places: look for the man in a sharp suit playing ddakji in the subway. But when his efforts finally yield results, the path toward taking down the organization proves to be deadlier than he imagined: to end the game, he needs to re-enter it.”
Other than this snippet, story details are still pretty thin at the moment. Yes, Gi-Hun is returning, but we also know that there are more contestants and the issue with the police starting to get involved, as hinted at in season 1. Given the new cast being introduced and the fact that creator Hwang Dong-hyuk promised it would feature "new games", it seems like we are in for a new version of the deadly competition that we've come to know. Stay tuned for more details!
