OEX Bush Pro Tarp | GO Outdoors (2025)

I thought I'd pay the extra for this because it's listed as being only 550g, but I got it home and it's just over 900g. A 3x3 from Amazon, was £30 and only 850g, incl. Pegs g guys, but cheaper feel.

I use this in the garden underneath my pergola to shelter from the Sun and rain. The multiple attachment points means that I can alter the direction I want to shelter from very easily.

Great bit of kit! Bought for a quick fix so I could take my Granddaughter out for a two night camp out. Plenty of tie points, had some showers nothing got through to us.

This has saved the day on so many camping trips, sheltering the kids from rain and the sun when needed. Really, really hard wearing. And no idea what the HH is, but has never leaked a drop of water.

Good value

A good size with plenty of attachment points for a variety of configurations. The attachment points are a combination of holes and loops, each well attached and sealed. It can be pegged out with only four pegs but better with six. Have had good results using two metre guy lines and an eight metre suspension line. Obviously more expensive than a basic tarp but the quality and options are worth the extra cost.

Pros: A great size good quality tarp with strong tie down points. Dry bag storage sack
Cons: Considerably heavier that spec states, 827g including stuff sack. Doesn't come with pegs or guy lines

So this is a great price, with lots of attachment points, seems strong to use, one thing lets it down, it is not ripstop nylon. On snag on a thorny bush and you have a big rip on your hands. Pro Huh?

Fantastic tarp, every bit as good as the DD tarps just a bit cheaper. Really well put together, perfect for pitching with a pair of walking poles.

Needing a new tarp I took a look at this in store. The materials and build seem to be up to the usual high standard expected and I almost purchased it. Unfortunately I then took note of the dimensions. I do a fair bit of hammock camping and for this a square tarp is needed in order that the diamond pitching option is possible, providing more cover for the head and foot ends of the hammock. This tarp is rectangular and therefore not suitable for this purpose. Hopefully OEX will soon produce a 285 x 285 tarp for those of us who like dangling in the trees.
